Anchor Inn Returns to Kinnett Family Ownership

Newville, Wisconsin – The Anchor Inn, a longtime favorite on the river in Newville, Wisconsin, is excited to announce it is back under the ownership of the Kinnett family, with a grand reopening planned for March 19, 2026.
The Kinnett family is thrilled to return to the helm and bring fresh energy to a place known for great memories, great food, and great times.
“We’re excited to step back in and create a fun, relaxing place where friends and families can enjoy incredible food, ice-cold drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere,” said the Kinnett family. “Anchor Inn has always been a special place, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back.”
Guests can look forward to:
- A refreshed menu featuring great food and incredible drinks
- Live entertainment from some of the hottest bands in the region
- The return of the popular Saturday meat raffles
- A vibrant, welcoming waterfront atmosphere
The Anchor Inn will also continue offering its beautiful banquet room, available for weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions. With scenic waterfront views and flexible event space, it’s the perfect setting for celebrations of all kinds.
As part of the transition, the Anchor Inn will no longer offer seasonal boat slips on-site. All docks at the restaurant will now be reserved exclusively for customers to tie up and enjoy the facilities on a daily basis.
